Overview
The 1,000W LED High Power Flood Light and Stadium Light has a die-cast aluminum body and impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses to withstand harsh environments. Integrated heat sinks ensure effective thermal management for an extended lifespan.
Choose from a beam angle of 20°, 30°, or 40° with secondary optics for precise illumination control. The fixture includes a steel reflector to minimize uplighting and has a preinstalled yoke mount, with an optional slipfitter mount available separately. It is ideal for high-pole installations, including sports stadiums, shipyards, and airports. An optional laser pointer for accurate light aiming is available separately.

Beam Angle
Beam Angle
Beam angle is used to express the angular dimension of light emitted from its source. The narrower the beam angle the more focused the light. Comparing two lights with the same lumen output, one with a 30° beam angle and another with a 90° beam angle, the 30° will appear brighter compared to the 90°, while the 90° will illuminate a larger area. Lights with a symmetrical output may have a beam angle expressed with a single value (e.g. W 120° x H 120° will be shown as 120°). Bulbs will typically have a single value expressing the outward beam angle projected at 360° (e.g. 120° is actually 360° x 120°).

BUG Rating
BUG Rating
 BUG is an acronym that stands for Backlight, Uplight, and Glare. The Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) and the International Dark Sky Association developed the BUG rating system to describe the unwanted light emitted from an outdoor light fixture. BUG ratings only apply to luminaires mounted in their normal downward position. Backlight is all light emitted from the fixture back toward the mounting pole from 0° to 90° vertically and 90° to -90° horizontally. Uplight is all light radiated from a fixture above 90° vertically. It essentially lights the sky, wasting energy and contributing to skyglow light pollution. "Front Light" or Glare is all light distributed from the front of a fixture from 0° to 90° vertically and -90° to 90° horizontally. An example BUG rating of "B4-U0-G4" has a Backlight rating of 4, an Uplight rating of 0, and a Glare rating of 4, with the scale going from 0 (best) to 5 (worst).
