The 6-inch 12 W ultra-thin LED recessed downlight is a complete canless LED lighting solution with selectable CCT. Designed for new construction, remodeling, or retrofit projects, this downlight installs easily without requiring a can light housing. A slim profile paired with an independent junction box and dimmable driver allows seamless integration into ceilings with limited vertical space, such as cathedral or vaulted designs. The fixture delivers up to 984 lumens and offers adjustable color temperature with a switch on the driver, making it adaptable for various lighting applications. With an IP44 rating for wet locations and IC safety rating, it is suitable for use with insulation contact.

A product that bears an ETL-Certified label has been evaluated by a Nationally Recognized Testing Laboratory (NRTL) and meets national product safety standards. An ETL certification is accepted in the U.S. and in Canada.
This product meets California Energy Commission (CEC) Title 24 JA8 requirements and is registered in their Modernized Appliance Efficiency Database System (MAEDbS).
Title 24 encompasses regulations for energy conservation, green design, construction, maintenance, fire and life safety, and accessibility in both residential and non-residential buildings across California, covering structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Implemented on January 1, 2017, these Building Energy Efficiency Standards include the Joint Appendix Section 8 (JA8) requirements for residential buildings, which are akin to Title 20 requirements, featuring L/W prerequisites. Compliance with Title 24 entails:
- CRI greater than 90
- R9 greater than 50 (R9 color rendering value indicates how well your lighting will highlight red colors)
- CCT under 4000K
- 6,000-hour lumen maintenance greater than or equal to 86.7%
- Rated life greater than or equal to 15,000 hours
- 10% dimming
- Flicker less than 30% for 200 Hz or below at 100% and 20% levels
- Noise less than 24 dB at 100% and 20%
- Label (either JA8-2016 or JA8-2016-E) on bulb
