Outfit Your Facility
with Reliable Lighting

Proper lighting is a powerful tool for your commercial or industrial space. The lighting in your commercial building directly impacts your lifecycle building costs, maintenance costs, and workforce productivity. They are also essential for maintaining a productive, safe operation.

Aside from the energy savings benefits, studies have shown that strategic lighting can improve worker productivity and wellness, reduce errors, and increase safety. That’s why an increasing number of businesses are turning to LED light fixtures to power their commercial spaces.

Whether you need lights for your warehouse, retail store, office, or building interior, ICL provides only the top-rated and highest-quality light fixtures.

Get the Best Return on
Investment With LEDs

Over the past decade, the cost of LED lights has plummeted while the technology has become increasingly energy-efficient and cost-effective. In an environment where fixtures must operate for long periods, selecting cost-saving fixtures with a reliable long lifetime will cut down on operating costs over time.

Did you know:

  • Lighting makes up 18-40% of energy commercial costs
  • LEDs use up to 75% less energy than metal halides
  • LEDs help reduce HVAC energy usage because they have significantly lower heat levels than HIDs

Lighting Upgrades vs. Retrofits

If you’re looking to upgrade the lights in your facility to LEDs, you have two main options: retrofit HID and fluorescent fixtures, or fully upgrade your facility and switch to LEDs.

Outfit HID or Fluorescent Fixtures with LEDs

Retrofitting current HID or fluorescent fixtures with LEDs allows you to reduce installation and total fixture costs while increasing energy savings. In a retrofit installation, parts of the existing fixture are kept and new compatible components are added. Popular retrofit lights include fluorescent tube light replacements, retrofit kits, corn bulbs, and retrofit can lights.

Full Fixture Replacement

Fully replacing your existing light fixtures is the smartest choice for the highest level of efficiency and most optimized light emission. Without the need to replace bulbs and tubes down the road, fully upgrading your facility results in minimal maintenance over time.

High bay lights, linear strip light fixtures, and explosion-proof lights are common lighting solutions for warehouses and industrial facilities. Many commercial and retail spaces opt for panel lights, troffer lights, and recessed downlights for their relamping projects.

Field Selectable CCT and Power Output

A field-selectable LED fixture allows the user to easily select a certain CCT or wattage during installation. These fixtures are beneficial as they allow users to visualize what color temperature and brightness will work best for their application. If an existing interior light fixture needs to be replaced, field-selectable lights can easily be adjusted to match the light output of other existing fixtures.

Before the light is fully installed, move the switch located on the fixture to the desired setting. Selecting the preferred setting at installation is recommended, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be changed at a later time. Field selectable fixtures can be changed after installation, but this may require that certain fixtures be opened or removed.

Benefits of Field Selectable Light Fixtures:

Distributors

Stock different configurations with one product

Fewer orders from factory

Increase inventory turns

Contractors

One product for multiple applications

Easier to keep stock & fewer trips to distributors

On-site CCT or wattage selectability

End Users

Customizable to space

Change CCT or wattage over time

Great for multiple projects

Lighting Controls

Utilize motion sensors and Bluetooth MESH wireless networks to increase energy savings and streamline your lighting control. Motion sensors ensure that lighting is turned on only when needed to cut back on unnecessary energy usage and costs.

These features also reduce the need for manual control and allow your facility to run efficiently around the clock. Networked Lighting Controls use a Bluetooth MESH network to wirelessly connect light fixtures. Using the compatible app, you can turn your lights on and off, adjust the brightness, adjust the color temperature, and create custom automations.

Diffusers, Reflectors, and Frosted Lenses

The visual comfort of your employees and patrons is of the utmost importance. Using diffusers, reflectors, or frosted lenses to disperse light and reduce glare can make your building a comfortable place to work and spend time.

In offices and schools, light panels with diffuser lenses help create a more comfortable and productive environment by minimizing eye strain. High bay light fixtures are commonly installed with reflectors to eliminate glare from large warehouses or industrial facilities. This also gives them a traditional high bay appearance.

Specialty Lighting

Some industries, like food and beverage processing facilities, require specific lighting equipment that has been certified to protect against contamination and unsanitary conditions. Hazardous locations require explosion-proof, wet-location-rated, or high-temperature light fixtures. A number of standards and certifications help certify these commercial and industrial fixtures. Our industrial indoor lighting fixtures are certified with a wide variety of safety, environmental impact, energy efficiency, and sanitation standards.
