LED Panel Lights
LED flat panel lights are designed to upgrade fluorescent troffer lights and fit easily into T-grid ceilings. With a consistent light output, these fixtures feature diffusers to reduce hotspots and minimize glare.

Troffer Lights
LED troffer lights are energy-efficient, rectangular fixtures offering improved light distribution compared to fluorescent troffers. The LEDs are placed in the middle of the fixture and utilize diffusers or lenses to distribute light evenly.

Recessed Downlights
Recessed LED downlights are smaller fixtures that provide efficient overhead lighting. Downlights come in various fixture types and trim styles to find the best fit for your application. Cut holes into the ceiling grid that match the fixture’s size for installation. Low-glare options are available to reduce eye strain.

Flush Mount Lights
Flush mount lights provide a modern style of lighting compared to traditional downlights. Due to their slim shape, they are typically favored for low-clearance drop ceiling installations. Fixtures with a 90+ CRI are available for areas that would benefit from higher color rendering. These fixtures come in various sizes ranging from 5-14 inches.

What is Drop Ceiling Lighting?
Drop ceiling lighting refers to fixtures installed in a secondary, suspended ceiling system (drop ceiling or T-bar ceiling) beneath the structural ceiling. These lights are placed into the T-grid drop ceiling, easily sliding into place and ensuring all wiring is concealed and secured in the ceiling tiles. Our LED drop ceiling fixtures can replace traditional fluorescent fixtures or be used in new constructions. Troffer and panel lights offer ease of installation and removal because of the lack of ceiling alteration or changes required.
How Do I Replace Traditional Drop Ceiling Fixtures With LEDs?
When replacing traditional drop ceiling fixtures with LEDs, the LED must be the same size and deliver the same light output as the existing fixture. However, LEDs operate at a lower wattage than traditional fixtures, meaning you will use fixtures with a comparable wattage. Comparable wattage indicates the LED emits the same amount of lumens as a traditional fixture at that wattage.
Benefits of Using
LED Drop Ceiling Lights
Higher Energy-Efficiency
LEDs operate with a higher energy optimization than fluorescent, incandescent, or halogen bulbs, increasing lifespan while reducing utility bills and maintenance costs.
Smart Lighting
Select a smart lighting system to control your lighting via mobile devices such as a phone or tablet. For example, smart recessed downlights allow you to toggle between RGB and tunable CCT color options, schedule and dim the lights, and more.
Networked Lighting Controls
Certain products are compatible with Keilton NLC sensors. These Bluetooth sensors allow for the simultaneous control of multiple fixtures, changing the CCT, and powering the lights, allowing you to minimize electricity usage.
Dimmers and Motion Sensors
Select a dimmable fixture to adjust the light intensity. The dimming type used will depend on the type of fixture, including 0-10V, Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM), TRIAC, and remote-controlled dimming.
Motion sensors power lighting off after inactivity and reduce energy costs. Install traditional PIR motion sensors to automatically turn lights off after inactivity, or for certain fixtures, install daylight harvesting sensors that adjust light output based on the available natural light.
Size Options
Our vast product selection allows us to carry fixtures in various sizes, ensuring there’s an option for your application.
The size options available will vary based on the specific product line:
Selectable CCT and Wattage
Choosing a product with selectable CCT and wattage allows you to select the best value based on your lighting needs. We offer selectable correlated color temperature (CCT)
ranging from 2700K to 6000K, as well as adjustable wattage settings to maximize light output. The graphic below shows a troffer light at different CCT values.

Where Can I Use Drop Ceiling Light Fixtures?
Due to their versatility, energy efficiency, and optimized light distribution, drop ceiling light fixtures work in various commercial applications, including:
- Classrooms
- Conference Rooms
- Gymnasiums
- Hospitals
- Libraries
- Office Spaces
- Supermarkets
- Warehouses
Additionally, drop tile ceiling lighting reduces noise, making it ideal for the locations above where a quieter environment is usually preferred—schools, workspaces, etc.
Special Applications
Using black drop ceiling grids has become increasingly popular to create a relaxed feeling, make larger spaces feel more cozy, and highlight colorful aspects of a room. This is common in coffee shops, restaurants, residential applications, and more. However, the fixtures used for a black ceiling grid may differ from those used for a white ceiling grid, so the lights don’t have a harsh contrast.

Do These Fixtures Come With Any Certifications?
LED drop ceiling lights are backed by an assortment of certifications, including DLC, ETL, and UL.

DLC
DLC (DesignLights Consortium) offers certifications if a product has been tested and proven to meet energy-efficiency and light quality standards. DLC Premium certifications are available for products that meet these standards at an even higher level.

ETL
ETL (Electrical Testing Laboratories) certifications verify that Intertek has tested and approved that a product meets its safety standards.

UL
UL (Underwriters Laboratories) establishes its own regulations to determine if a product has met specific safety standards. Other organizations, including ETL, often implement these standards.
