Networked Lighting Controls: Fixtures and Controllers
What is a Bluetooth Mesh Networked Lighting Control?
Networked Controlled Lighting uses a Bluetooth mesh network to wirelessly connect light fixtures, sensors, and zone controllers in a robust lighting network. In a Bluetooth mesh network, connected devices, also known as nodes, send and receive messages from other nodes within communication range. If a message needs to reach a device that is out of direct range, it is passed from node to node until it reaches its destination. This eliminates issues in the traditional wiring of light fixtures since an issue in one light won't affect the rest of the system. If a problem in one node does occur, the network can find an alternate communication path through other nodes to "self-heal."
Once the light fixtures are paired with the compatible Keilton app, you can create custom zones, groups, scenes, schedules, and automations. This is a great solution for large commercial and industrial spaces that need a simplified way to control extensive lighting networks.

Benefits of Networked Lighting Controls
- Scalability: A centralized wireless control system makes it easy to add or remove lighting fixtures based on changes to your building. This is great for commercial businesses and industrial warehouses that have ever-changing needs.
- Increased automation: With a variety of scheduling and custom scene creation, you can create automations aimed to save energy and lower overall operating costs.
- Rebates: Various utility programs offer rebates for businesses that install qualifying networked lighting controls and fixtures.
- Future-proof: While fixtures with built-in sensors are available, certain LED fixtures are also available with sensor-ready sockets. These fixtures are designed to work with compatible PIR motion sensors and daylight harvesting sensors. This is a great option if you want to upgrade to a complete NLC system in the future but are not ready now.
- Individually addressable lights: With the Keilton smart app, you can adjust the brightness, color temperature, and scheduling of custom lighting groups, zones, or individual fixtures. This provides an unparalleled amount of control over your lighting system.
- Protection against cyber threats: All DLC-listed NLC lighting fixtures and controls are certified with a Gold Level UL 1376 IoT Security Rating to protect against external cybersecurity threats.
Fixture Options
We offer two types of luminaire options: sensor-ready fixtures and those with integrated sensors.

Sensor-Ready LED High Bay
Our sensor-ready LED high bays feature a port that accepts compatible PIR daylight harvesting Bluetooth mesh motion sensors. These fixtures are ideal for large warehouses and areas with tall ceilings.

LED Panels
Perfect for schools, offices, and workplaces, our LED panels provide evenly distributed lighting in selectable CCT and wattage options. These panels are available in 4x4 and 2x2 sizes and feature integrated ECO sensors.

LED Troffers
The LED troffer panels feature integrated Bluetooth sensors for increased energy savings. These fixtures are perfect for offices, schools, hospitals, and grid ceilings.

LED Strip Light Fixtures
Strip fixtures with built-in ECO sensors help create an interconnected NLC network in warehouses, garages, retail stores, and other locations.
Control Options
Our Networked Lighting Controls can be controlled with the Keilton App and a supplemental wall-mounted remote control.
Keilton App
The Keilton app controls up to 100 individual luminaires in a network and allows users to customize their lighting system. Using a Bluetooth mesh network, users can:
- Create scenes (preset custom lighting levels or color temperatures)
- Create and control zones and groups to control multiple fixtures at once
- Set schedules for lights to turn them on and off
- Control brightness
- Color temperature
- Add and remove light fixtures from zones and groups
- Share control to certain lighting systems through sharable QR codes
The Keilton app is available in Google Play and the Apple store.
Wall Remote
The Keilton Bluetooth MESH Wall Switch/Remote allows users to control lights connected to the Keilton network and other compatible accessories. This wall switch can function as a handheld remote to control lights from up to 100 ft away.
Once connected to the Keilton app, you can select three scenes for the remote to cycle through for easy feature access.

Compatible Network Accessories
Bluetooth Mesh PIR Motion Sensor
Use the PIR motion sensor and daylight harvesting setting with sensor-ready light fixtures to save money on energy costs and reduce operating expenses. Installation is easy; simply screw the sensor into the fixture port and connect it to the Keilton app.
Zone Controller
With the Keilton app and compatible zone controller, you can turn a group of existing 0-10V light fixtures into a networked lighting control system. For multiple fixtures, install the controller into a junction box. Or, you can wire it to a fixture directly.
DLC Listed
All Networked Lighting Control fixtures and controllers sold by Industrial Commercial Lighting are either DLC Listed or DLC Premium to ensure compliance with all DLC standards and system requirements. These standards require certain protections against cybersecurity and certain capabilities regarding zoning, photocell control, device networking, and more.
