In the event of a voltage surge or electrical failure, LED Surge Protector is an added defense for indoor or outdoor LED fixtures. Take advantage of the already safe, long lifespan of LEDs with this additional accessory. It provides a nominal discharge current of 5kA, and a maximum discharge current of 10kA for 120-277V drivers.

The marking may be "SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS" or "DRY LOCATIONS ONLY."Suitable for Damp Locations Fixtures marked “SUITABLE FOR DAMP LOCATIONS” or “SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS” can be installed in damp locations. A damp location is an exterior or interior location regularly or occasionally subject to moisture condensation on or around electrical equipment. It includes partially protected places such as covered patios and porches.
