Commercial-Grade Bulbs

LEDs: The Clear Choice for Efficiency

LEDs provide a wide range of benefits compared to fluorescent and HID lights. They use less energy to emit the same amount of light as other lighting solutions. Unlike traditional light sources that rely on reflectors to focus the light, many LED tubes and bulbs emit directional light and utilize advanced secondary optics.

LEDs also last considerably longer, reducing the frequency of replacing lighting components. Most of our commercial-grade light bulbs have an L70 lifetime of 50,000 hours. In commercial and industrial buildings that are operational for extended periods of time, long-lasting lights are a valuable asset to lower overall operating costs.

Retrofit Bulbs:
An Economical Lighting Solution

In a retrofit installation, existing light fixtures are updated with new compatible lighting components, usually LED retrofits. This allows facilities to upgrade to LED technology without entirely replacing their current setup. An increasing number of commercial facilities are turning to LED retrofitting for this reason and the following benefits:

An increasing number of commercial facilities are turning to LED retrofitting for this reason and the following benefits:

Plug-and-play Options

Type A fluorescent tube light replacements are installed directly into the existing fixture without the need to bypass the ballast. This reduces the time spent upgrading lighting fixtures in large facilities and cuts down on electrician expenses.

Lower Upfront Costs

Retrofit bulbs are typically less expensive than complete LED light fixtures. For large industrial spaces, choosing LED retrofits will help significantly lower the total upfront outfitting cost.

Eliminates Faulty Ballasts

Ballasts are a common point of failure among fluorescent or HID fixtures and require frequent maintenance or replacement. However, certain LED tubes and retrofit kits are designed to bypass the existing ballast, thereby removing this pain point.

Reduced Maintenance Costs

Recurring ballast failure in fluorescent and HID lights commonly requires frequent maintenance. LED technology eliminates the need for ballasts by using advanced drivers that last longer and are more reliable. This reduces the need to hire electricians or repairmen to fix issues caused by the ballast.

Instant Start

Some traditional types of lighting experienced slow turn-on times and frequent flickering during this period. In certain warehouse settings where suboptimal lighting conditions can cause delays in operating periods, instant start lighting is crucial. LED retrofit bulbs and tubes turn on instantly to provide immediate illumination.

Ballast Compatibility Made Easy

There are two main types of ballast compatibilities: direct fit and direct wire. Both offer significant benefits for electricians and building managers. Direct fit, also known as plug-and-play lights, are the easiest retrofit solution to install since they can be inserted, screwed, or mounted directly in the existing light housing without changing any existing wiring or light components. Direct wire, or ballast bypass, lights require rewiring and sometimes the removal of existing components. However, direct wire retrofit solutions are typically more energy efficient in the long run.

Our Type A/B 3-in-1 Universal tube lights are compatible with both single and dual-end Type B ballast bypass, making them our most versatile option. These tubes are perfect if you need to buy lights in bulk for your facility and require compatibility with multiple existing sockets. Additionally, if you install them as Type A plug-and-play and the ballast fails later, you can easily bypass the ballast and continue using the same tube.

Before deciding which option is best for your space, talk with one of our representatives. They can help you determine which ballast compatibility you need based on the specifications of your existing lights and a number of other factors. Call us at 888-249-8166.

Lighting Solutions
for Any Commercial Spaces

Commercial and industrial spaces rely on a wide variety of lighting types. Luckily, replacement LED bulbs and tubes are available for all of these fixtures.

LED Fluorescent Tube Replacements

LED tube lights are an economical solution for updating strip light fixtures, fluorescent tube fixtures, vapor-tight lights, and troffer lights. They come in a variety of lengths, including 2ft, 4ft, and 8ft to fit any fixture length. We offer T8 tubes (the most common), T5 tubes, T12 tubes, T9 circline lamps, and T8 U-Bend lamps. The exact type of replacement tube you need depends on the pin type, diameter, and wiring of your existing sockets. If you are unsure what tube you need, our product support specialists can point you in the right direction! Give us a call at 888-249-8166.

LED Corn Bulbs

Unlike traditional metal-halide bulbs, LED corn bulbs are increasingly durable and turn on instantly. They produce less heat than conventional bulbs, resulting in a longer lifetime and higher energy efficiency. Corn bulbs are commonly used to retrofit high bays, low bays, cobra head lights, and various types of parking lot or street light fixtures. We offer E26, E26/E27, E39, and E39/EX39 base types to fit existing HID bulb sockets.

High Bay LED Bulbs

High-bay lights must provide powerful downlighting to illuminate large, wide areas. We offer many types of high-bay retrofit solutions, including tube light replacements, corn bulbs, and high-bay retrofit bulbs to help you get the exact replacement light you need.

High Lumen LED Filament Bulbs

High-output HID replacement lamps offer all the benefits of LEDs with the traditional light bulb look. These are a great option for high-bay and low-bay fixtures, as they provide 360 degrees of bright, reliable lighting to warehouses, processing plants, storage facilities, and factories.

Streamlined Shopping Experience

At ICL, we want to make it easy to find the best replacement light. That’s why we list the comparable wattages of our LED bulbs, tubes, and retrofit kits so you can find the retrofit solution that emits a similar brightness to your existing lights. Many of our bulbs also feature selectable CCT, which allows you to easily match the existing CCT in your facility or adjust it at a later date. And, when you sign up for a commercial account, your dedicated account representative can help you determine the exact lighting specifications your space needs.

Quality Bulbs and Tubes Put to the Test

All LED bulbs, tubes, and retrofit kits sold by ICL are tested in our in-house test lab. We put our lights through a series of tests to check for overall quality and durability. We know that warehouses and commercial properties commonly need around-the-clock lighting, so we test to see how our bulbs and tubes hold up under extended run times. Also, we verify the IP rating for outdoor rated bulbs to ensure sufficient ingress protection. Our product experts also measure the exact specifications of all products to ensure you receive the exact light fit for your space.
