Type A
Type A LED tubes are the easiest solution for converting fluorescent fixtures into LEDs. These tubes, called “ballast-compatible LED tubes,” plug directly into an existing fixture. However, this requires using the original ballast, which is prone to failure. If choosing Type A tubes, ensure your ballast functions correctly, or you may encounter problems.
