Overview
The DiodeDrive Emergency Battery Backup Driver switches on when line power fails, providing 170 VDC of power. The internal lithium-ion battery delivers backup light for a minimum of 90 minutes and has a 24-hour recharge time. The battery backup has a wide input voltage of 100-347 VAC and supports a fixture up to 150W. The driver provides a constant output power even as the battery voltage declines. Automatic self-testing runs the required monthly 30-second and annual 90-minute tests. Any faults are displayed on the included test switch/indicator module that fits in a single-gang box. The UL 924 Listed certification meets or exceeds specific safety and fire hazard codes required for commercial properties in the United States. Ideal for high bays, commercial downlights, panels, and troffers.

TRIAC Dimming: This is the most commonly recognized dimming type, with TRIAC Dimmers found in most Home Centers and hardware stores. TRIAC (TRIode for Alternating Current) dimmers operate by modifying the voltage waveform, reducing the amount of power input to the device being controlled. Reducing the input power will result in a corresponding reduction in a power supply's output voltage/current or a decrease in the lumen output of a light fixture. TRIAC dimmers come in two variations: Forward Phase and Reverse Phase
0-10V Dimming: This type of dimming control is most commonly found in commercial applications. It works by varying a voltage from 0 to 10 VDC on dedicated dimming wires. The output of a power supply or light fixture is proportional to the voltage applied. Pulse-Width Modulation (PWM) Dimming: This dimming control adjusts output by rapidly turning the output on and off at a fixed frequency. The proportion of on-time to total time sets the dimming percentage. Potentiometer Dimming: Potentiometer dimming varies the output using a variable resistor, or potentiometer, to set the dimming level. |

A light marked "SUITABLE FOR WET LOCATIONS" may have additional markings that tell where and at what height it can be safely mounted. Uncovered outdoor areas like decks, gazebos, walls, and typical landscape lighting sites all fall under the heading of wet locations. |
